Only 1 in 3 buyers succeeds

Capterra surveyed more than 3,300 software buyers globally and found that only one in three is a successful software adopter. Over half (52%) of sales and marketing decision-makers say effectively using AI features is their number one challenge for the year ahead. 27% did not know they were already using AI

BDC surveyed 1,247 Canadian entrepreneurs in April 2024. Only 39% initially said they used AI. When shown a list of AI-powered tools, 66% confirmed they did. 78.1% say AI is not relevant to them

Statistics Canada surveyed 9,494 businesses in Q3 2025 and found that 78.1% of non-adopters not planning to use AI said it was simply not relevant to what they produce or deliver. Separately, a Liaison Strategies poll of 500 Ontario business leaders (August 2025) found that roughly 70% were unaware of government AI support programs and only 23% said AI adoption had increased at their business in the past year.
